Risorse europee

Joint Research Centre
The Joint Research Centre is the Commission’s science and knowledge service. The JRC employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.

Learning and Skills for the Digital Era
Learning and skills are key contributors to society and the economy. As modern societies and economies are changing due to, amongst others, globalisation and technological progress, a fundamental transformation of education and training (E&T) throughout Europe is required to deliver the knowledge and skills needed for growth, employment and participation in society. This forms an important part of the Europe 2020 agenda and its various flagships and policy initiatives.

Open Education
Open education is an umbrella term under which different understandings of open education can be accommodated.
It goes beyond open educational resources (OER) and open research outputs to embrace strategic decisions, teaching methods, collaboration between individuals and institutions, recognition of non-formal learning and different ways of making content available.

The Joint Research Centre, in partnership with DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, has developed EntreComp: The Entrepreneurship Competence Framework. EntreComp describes entrepreneurship as a lifelong competence, identifies what are the elements that make someone entrepreneurial and describes them to establish a common reference for initiatives dealing with entrepreneurial learning.

Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu)
The European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu) is a scientifically sound framework describing what it means for educators to be digitally competent. It provides a general reference frame to support the development of educator-specific digital competences in Europe. DigCompEdu is directed towards educators at all levels of education, from early childhood to higher and adult education, including general and vocational education and training, special needs education, and non-formal learning contexts.

European Framework for Digitally Competent Educational Organisations
The DigCompOrg framework can be used by educational organisations (i.e., primary, secondary and VET schools, as well as higher education institutions) to guide a process of self-reflection on their progress towards comprehensive integration and effective deployment of digital learning technologies.
